Josh Marx

Senior Development Associate

Josh Marx, a Senior Development Associate with Prestwick Development Company, focuses on site acquisition, financial analysis, and project management of both market rate and affordable housing projects.

Prior to joining Prestwick Companies, Josh worked for the Georgia Housing and Finance Authority, where he oversaw the agency’s origination platforms, managed the finance team’s tax credit review process, led financial policy reviews and initiatives, and worked on special projects. Josh oversaw $30 million of HOME and National Housing Trust Fund lending and underwrote more than $200 million in tax credit transactions.

Prior to working at GHFA, Josh managed over $1 billion in commercial real estate assets for Trimont Real Estate Advisors. Josh focused on every asset class, and through this experience, became passionate about affordable housing development. Before entering the real estate world, Josh served as a 6th grade math teacher in Memphis, TN with Teach For America.

Josh grew up in Dallas, TX. He is actively involved in East Atlanta Young Life and Blueprint Church.
